from The Fatal Product, track released July 21, 2012
Through the gales of violent seas where entropy doth flow,
Beyond the cruel calamity sane men fear to row..
-
Endure the raging tempest lest your vessel be capsized,
This unforgiving unrest will claim a careless life
-
Brave the froth of fatal foam to find the relief you seek,
A place untouched by modern man, a land of peculiar green
-
Lo, behold the beauty of nature -
Undespoiled perfection
Go, explore the wealth of this exotic land -
This Garden of Eden
-
Hot springs, cascading founts
to cleanse the sweat from their brows,
-
Sweet scents on jungle breeze
calling them into the trees,
-
Burdened boughs of swollen fruits
waiting for brutes to loot,
-
Praise your gods you foolish peons,
for nothing is as it seems
-
Something amiss amidst the bliss
as the men begin to fall sick..
Ensnared by allure, betrayed by nature,
the effects of forbidden treasure..
Depleting the might from final cries,
bleeding the life from their eyes,
Transforming a man to a tool of the land,
once intruder, now forever damned
-
Run
Deeper into the tangled thorns of unascertained fatality
Reclaimed vigor unto it's purest form,
transfigured blood into chlorophyll, reborn..
-
Try
To evade the violent vines of corporeal voracity,
No man can hide, not one can ever roam
From the Gardens of Flesh and Bone
-
Behold the power of nature -
Undeserving infection
No, you will not desecrate this thriving land -
of human averion
-
Hear me now fleshly one,
The Tree of Life will not repeat this reason:
You will board your craft and you will leave
of this isle, to none will you dare speak.
Fragments of me now dwell in you
and you will live out the days I allot you.
Upon certain death, from you I shall return -
But now is not then, begone - I have spoken.
-
Endure the raging tempest lest escape be nullified,
This unforgiving unrest could claim your pardoned life.
-
Brave the froth of fatal foam to find the relief you seek,
a place destroyed by modern man, a land to plant the seeds
-
In the wake of plunder, pollution and despair,
Mother Earth will find a way to outlive human error
For mankind is dependent, complacent in doomed ways,
when the Earth ceases to give, the Earth will take away
